Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antiseptic, carminative, & mild sedative properties. Used in compresses to help treat inflammations as well as other swellings and irritations of the skin. Can also be used in a rinse for light coloured hair and in the bath (in bags such as muslin or cheesecloth).
