Essential oils are used for scent and therapeutic properties. Add 15-20 drops per batch.

1/8 tsp Orris root powder as a fixative to retain scent.

1/2 tsp Natural clays and ground flower petals are recommended for colour and texture.

1/8 tsp Spices such as Paprika, *Turmeric or *Ratanjot to create pastel shades. (*use sparingly as they can stain)
Mix all salts and other ingredients in a stainless steel or glass bowl. Scoop mixture into an airtight container (Glass or Tin) to store. If using Tins, line with plastic to keep mixture dry. Use approximately ¼ to ½ cup of bath salt blend per bath.

Tub Tea
Create your own Tub Tea blend from this list of botanicals or use the formulas below.
Arnica: Helps heal bruises, sprains and stimulates immune system. Do not use on broken skin.
Comfrey root: Contains Allantoin which helps stimulate skin to regenerate new skin cells to speed healing.

Oatmeal: Contains “Saponins” that can help relieve irritated skin conditions such as rashes.
Patchouli leaves: Moisturizing and relaxing. Helps tighten pores. Good for eczema and psoriasis.
Peppermint: Stimulates the sebaceous gland to produce more oil, great for dry skin conditions
Rosehips: High in vitamin C. Has antioxidant and astringent properties.
Rose petals: Moisturizing for skin and relaxing for mind.
Spearmint: Stimulates the sebaceous gland to produce more oil making it great for dry skin conditions
