The tins are made of steel that have been specially coated. They are good for oil and wax based products such as salves or lip balms. Bath salts should be first contained in plastic to prevent moisture from being attracted to the blend. Do not leave containers sitting in water or a moist environment. Safe for dry ingredients and dry foods.
